 This is not a problem, this is misconfiguration from your side, and
 this has nothing to do with gnome-terminal at all, did you try with
 xterm?  I can configure my shell to display that in the title too, it's
 just not that way by default.

 I suggest you read the manual page of Eterm, or of xterm, or whatever
 terminal, then the documentation of your shell, and you will be able to
 configure your shell to update the title of your terminal.  Please note
 that this can be different from shell to shell or from terminal to
 terminal (it depends of the way the shell suggests updating the title,
 usually a pre_cmd() on each command, and it depends on the particular
 escape sequences to use with your terminal).

 Please confirm this bug can be closed.
