| Hi,
|
| Not sure if that's a gnome-media or a gstreamer problem.
| Do you still have the problem with current version ?
| With which part of gnome-media do you have the problem ?

The report was recently updated on the GNOME BTS to include a tip on how
to work around the problem, and that work around works for me. Namely,
the ALSA sink should be set to use device hw:0.

I guess it's a gstreamer problem, but according to the aforementioned
report certain applications such as xine and xmms use gstreamer in a way
that makes them less vulnerable to this problem, so it could be
partially a problem in GNOME.

Thanks,
