Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.4.2-7
Severity: important

After a few hours of usage, gnome-terminal's display area becomes black and ceases to respond to
keyboard and mouse. After that, when switching windows (such as now, while I write this bug in xterm),
we find that the menu area is also monochromingly grey and doesn't respond either. Sometimes,
gnome-terminal becomes responsive again after an hour or so, but most of the time it (and the
applications it runs) has to be killed.

I haven't experienced these symptoms in ages, so I'm closing this bug.
