Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.0.3-3
Severity: normal

The weather applet, while very nice, seems to cache some network info.
I use this on a laptop, and when I move the laptop from home to work,
the weather applet stops being able to retrieve updates. When I look
at the list of network connections, I can see that the machine is
trying to make a connection through the router at my house, and this
of course fails.

I'm not sure why this is happening. A quick skim through the source
suggests that this might be a consequence of using GNOME VFS.

This bug is fixed in gnome-vfs 2.8 according to upstreams, I'm closing it.
