Package: totem-gstreamer
Version: 0.99.15.1-2
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/totem

In the preferences I've enabled "Visa visuella effekter d=E5 en ljudfil=20
spelas" (English: "Show visual effects when a sound file is playing"). I=
=20
choose the "synaesthesia" visualization (but none of the available ones=20
have any effect), and visualization size large.

The pane in the main window where I suppose the visualizations are suppos=
ed=20
to appear is simply black.

Music playback works fine.

Don't know if this is related, but when I launch totem from a terminal=20
window it says these things:

"
** (totem:8901): WARNING **: Couldn't read /proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info

(totem:8901): GStreamer-WARNING **: pad xvimagesink0:sink returned caps=20
that are not a real subset of its template caps

"

I've tested the X sink from the Gnome control panel thing, and from there=
=20
it works fine (i.e. I get the test picture and the it flickers in the=20
lower right corner).
