This system uses multiple types of network devices:
dummy0
eth0
wlan0
tap0
The "Always monitor a connected device, if possible" option in the
"Netspeed Preferences" dialog makes netspeed choos another interface
if one goes down. But netspeed never choses the loopback interface
"lo" on its own, which makes sense.
However, the same reasoning applies to the "dummy+" interfaces, so
dummy0 should never be chosen automatically, and the "dummy+"
interfaces should probably added to the same exception list where "lo"
already is.
And, on a related note, assigning priorities to interfaces and showing
always the interface with the highest priority which is up, might also
make sense.
