Bug#261219: gnome-control-center: same problems seen in unstable

I'm running sid, this is the output I get: (xprop)

This leads to the same error message as noted above, after which there's
a popup asking me to choose between X and Gnome settings. If I choose X
I get that error message again, twice. It's really annoying but
everything seems to work. Note however that I used to have an azerty
keyboard and I just recently changed it (by changing it in the
XF86Config-4 file and just starting gnome).
