Hi, I'm afraid I won't be able to help a great deal on this bug, but maybe I can get it rolling. Try to get a backtrace of the gnomepanel process. Run (possibly in a virtual terminal): gdb -p $GNOMEPANELPID bt where $GNOMEPANELPID is the pid of gnome-panel as found with ps aux. Send the output to the bug. Thanks, Justin
