Package: python-gtk2-dev
Version: 2.8.6-2
Severity: important

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=planner&ver=0.14-6&arch=powerpc&stamp=1151592483&file=log&as=raw

The relevant error lines from the build log are:

/usr/bin/pygtk-codegen-2.0: line 11: /usr/bin/python2.4: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/pygtk-codegen-2.0: line 11: exec: /usr/bin/python2.4: cannot execute: No such file or directory

I assume it's a Python transition issue, but what exactly?
Here, pbuilder works against 2.8.2-3 packages from Testing.

(19:04:49) Np237: Q-FUNK, that's a bug in pygtk, please reassign
(19:05:17) Np237: this is probably a #!/usr/bin/python2.4 shebang
(19:06:06) Np237: Q-FUNK, "head -1 /usr/bin/pygtk-codegen-2.0" ?
(19:15:44) Q-FUNK: #!/bin/sh
(19:16:13) Q-FUNK: Np237: that's what it returns
(19:16:25) Q-FUNK: this is on python-gtk2-dev (2.8.2-3)
(19:18:15) Q-FUNK: if you meant that line #11 as reported by the above error, it's:
(19:18:17) Q-FUNK: exec /usr/bin/python2.3 $codegendir/codegen.py "$@"
(19:18:55) Np237: oh that sucks
(19:18:58) Np237: that deeply sucks
(19:19:26) Np237: just file a bug, I'll have to look at it tomorrow evening
