Bug#571278: sound settings changed: missing boost setting for microphone

I have no idea, whether this change is really caused by gnome-applets,
but since today (I'm always following sid closely) the sound settings
changed completely. The microphone setting does not have a switch for
"boost microphone" anymore. Without this setting, internet telephony
is almost impossible, because my partner cannot hear me well. With
the console based alsamixer, I can still set the boost, fortunately.
