Bug#618543: evince produces insanely large spool files when printing PDF

Printing a simple PDF from evince to a HP printer produces a
very large spool file which takes ages to print.

For example the attached (85Kbyte) PDF produces a 1.2Mbyte spool file.

Just printing the original PDF file is rapid.
