Package: gkbd-capplet
Version: 3.2.0-1
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
In Gnome Panel/Shell I find a small applet to indicate the current
keyboard layout. In its menu there is an entry "show keyboard layout".
This is failing with "gkbd-keyboard-display" is not available.
gkbd-capplet has to be identfied as the needed package and manually
installed.

To me it looks like some package should depend or suggest on
'gkbd-capplet', as it will be hard to determine the cause of the failure.
