The fix is present in the current unstable version of
rhythmbox(shell/rb-shell-player.c Line: 1409), probably because it is
based on a more recent upstream snapshot.

So this bug should probably be marked as fixed in unstable.
What would be the next steps to get this fix into stable as well?
