Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.8.3-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

What's wrong:

After upgrade from wheezy to jessie gnome-terminal shows a blank window.

Additional info:

After the upgrade I also had to switch from nouveau to vesa x driver.

gnome-terminal responds to commands (espeak hello, exit)

I tried dpkg-reconfigure gnome-terminal
