I filed this in the upstream bugzilla.

>From my poking around, it _seems_ this is entirely a testsuite problem as
time_t appears to be never stored by glib, just passed as an argument /
return value.  I have no clue about gir though, so its upstream is more
likely to know what to do.

At least, adding support for time_t as a first-class type would be massive
overkill.
