3.14 "Oh no! Something has gone wrong"

Hi,

I've got a Sid installation in a virtualbox VM. Since installing updates
about five days ago (including the first gnome 3.14 components I
believe) I can no longer load gnome. I just get a black screen.

Trying to load from console mode with 'startx' results in an 'oh no!'
error every time. Returning to the console after this error, there
doesn't seem to be much useful info displayed about the problem, just
some generic log info, and at the end "xinit: connection to X server lost".

I've been keeping it up to date via console mode, but five days later
the issue still persists so I thought I'd post a message. I did have a
scan through recent messages in the archive and bug tracker, but didn't
notice anything already there.
