Hi GNOME maintainers,

We have looked at the remaining RC bugs for Jessie, and noticed that the
GNOME package stack seems to have several RC bugs affecting both
unstable and testing.

Of the remaining 78 RC bugs in key packages affecting unstable and
testing, GNOME accounts for[1]:

 * #768133 - evince print only blank page in landscape / okular work
 * #644047 - gdm3: /etc/default/locale ignored, locale set to C,[...]
 * #774889 - gdm3: fails to upgrade squeeze -> wheezy -> jessie [...]
 * #775877 - gnome-session: No mouse pointer after login
 * #776746 - gnome-session: GNOME crashes during a remote desktop access
 * #770130 - gnome-shell: fails to start on i386 when built with [...]

At this point, this is ~7.7% of the remaining unsolved RC bugs affecting
both unstable and testing (in key packages).

Please have a look at these bugs and squash them at your earliest
convenience. If there are some of these that you doubt can be fixed
within a reasonable time frame, please let me know. In that case,
please also comment on:

 * Whether you consider the bug a release blocker for a working GNOME
   in Jessie.
 * What is preventing us from finding a solution and if there is
  something a fellow DD/Debian contributor can do to assist you. E.g.
   - Missing information / cannot reproduce the bug
   - Manpower in the GNOME team to isolate the commit upstream or
     upload the patch.
   - ...

Thanks,
~Niels

[1] Note this only includes packages that I could trivially manually
match up with packages that you maintain. Your package team might
maintain more RC buggy packages than the listed ones.
