Package: gvfs-backends
Version: 1.26.2-1+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I was looking how to see NFS shares with gvfs and i found this
upstream bug which states that NFS mount capability was added in
1.23.x: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738967

I have NFS subsystem setup and running correctly from the command line
using 'mount -t nfs ...' commands and the 'showmount' correctly shows
exported directories on the remote server.

But when I tried to mount an NFS share using "gvfs-mount
nfs://<server-ip>/<path>" i receive the following error:

"Error mounting location: La posizione non è montabile"

which can be translated roughly as "Cannot mount such position"

Where is the problem?

Digging deeper I found the very packages' NEWS.gz file which states:

 "Major changes in 1.23.90
  ========================
  * ftp: Implement backups for replace
  * Add an nfs backend based on libnfs"

Is it disabled? How can I re-enable it?

Thanks in advance,

Alberto
