It seems alleyoops picks up the gnome-vfs dependency because of
using libgnomeui which .pc file Requires: gnome-vfs and thus "leaks"
the linkage to users of libgnomeui.

Some work on removing libgnomeui dependencies (et.al.) seems to have
already happened in alleyoop git master (in 2011).

Maybe if someone tested and reported on the state of the git master
we could consider shipping a snapshot instead of latest release?
