[pkg-gnupg-maint] GnuPG maintenance

Hi,

I desperately need GnuPG 2.4 for its improved LDAP functionality. I don't know who's working on what; how can I help get some experimental uploads together? Scute looks like a moderately simple package; I might be able to take on maintenance of that, but it's better for someone more experienced to take on the core of GnuPG.

I really like writing comprehensive autopkgtests, and as someone who uses gpgsm quite frequently (which I know DKG confessed seldom using), I think GnuPG 2.4 poses an opportunity to better integrate that into the system such as by integrating the system certificate authorities.

Please let me know how I can help. I'm pretty strong at C programming and can write tests that use GPGME; I've made small programs using that.

Thanks
