[DebianGIS-dev] Development and Packaging needed: QGIS Georeferencer plugin

Hi everybody,

we need support in packaging an enhancement to qgis for a debian-based
LiveCD (KNOPPIX) that will be distributed by the Ministry of
Rhineland-Palatinate. We - WhereGroup based in Bonn, Germany, service
provider around FOSS4G - are ready to fund such support. The enhancement
has been made in the georeferencer plugin
(svn/trunk/qgis/src/plugins/georeferencer) and is checked into svn HEAD.
Thanks Oleg, Thanks Tim.

Now - getting to the point here - we still need some support in packaging
this. What we want is an enhanced version of exactly the package that we
already run (qgis version 0.8.0-3 maintained by the debianGIS project -
find more package info below). Maybe we could supply the source from our
KNOPPIX, someone patches the changes in, builds the package, we get it
back - all happy.

Anybody able to help us out here?

Cheers

Sebastian
