None. I meant to give Eclipse + pydev a try and had never installed it
before. The first thing I tried was plugin installation since I wanted
pydev.

No, still getting the following errors:

Note that Google's repository at
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ does work for me. Also, the
custom repository was still there even after running eclipse with the
arguments you gave.
