[Pkg-javascript-devel] Contacting maintainers of libjs-* packages for advice

Hello, pkg-javascript-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org

My name is Antonio, and I am a member of the systems team at the W3C. (I
apologise in advance if this is not the right channel for my comments!
If so, I would appreciate advice on how to contact the relevant people.)

At the World Wide Web Consortium we are starting to collect in a central
location a copy of the JS libraries we use most often -- many published
specs and other documents use jQuery, MathJax etc, and to avoid
redundancy we are putting together a very simple, internal repository
(think "our very own micro-CDN"). While doing so, we are faced with a
few problems (how to handle different versions or strands of each
library, how to get security announcements from developers and deploy
their updates promptly, etc).

Leveraging libjs-* Debian packages is a possibility, although we still
have to study if it fits our needs.

In any case, we suspect the maintainers of libjs-* are dealing with the
same issues, so I would like to talk with some of you to maybe answer
these question. E-mail, IRC or some kind of VoIP would work for me.

Thank you in advance, and keep on the good work.
