This is upstream #335, I tracked down the origin of this (bad parameter to 
epoll_pwait) and had a minimal patch, but upstream prefers to go for full 
fix/rewrite, so we are still waiting for the final commit:

This is new to me, instead. It was not failing on my pbuilder one month ago, 
but I will retry now. We are now also lagging a couple of versions behind, so 
it may have been fixed/reported in the meanwhile.

I'll try to dig a bit in the history and see if 1.5.0/1.6.0 fail too.
