I just uploaded labplot 2.8.1 (mostly a bugfix release) to unstable,
and hopefully it should be available in the archive in 4 hours or so.
Once it is updated for you, can you please try again with the new
version?
In case the issue still persists with the new version, can you please
report the bug directly to the upstream developers? See the page
https://labplot.kde.org/support/ with pointers.
