[Pkg-mc-devel] build with git-buildpackage

Hi Dmitry,

git-buildpackage worked for me somehow magically without changing my
setup. If not I would not have used it. My setup is based on the
recommendations given in Debian Med policy[1] - just seek for the
string:

"To make git-buildpackage build the package with pdebuild."

Note: The Debian Med policy recommends a different repository layout
including full source. This is according to my test not necessary at
all.

No. Git-buildpackage probably downloaded upstream source the first time
when it did not found the orig.tar.xz in ../tarballs via uscan. I did
nothing manually about this.

I admit I can not give any more help. If it does not work for your
perhaps debian-mentors at lists.debian.org comes to mind.

Good luck

    Andreas.
