I'm not saying we should be using BTS exclusively.
I welcome *human* communication in any form and I consider CC to this list is
perfectly appropriate when necessary.

No, you got me wrong - perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

If LP flow goes here, Ubuntu people will *assume* we're checking on bugs,
verifying if they are relevant to Debian and taking action.

And this is hurting our communication because forwarding would be more
effective.
By forwarding I mean any form of it, either CC to this list or to BTS.

If a problem reported on Ubuntu side and forwarded here manually it will
receive far greater attention than automated reports.

With automated reports we're exercising filtering skills while maintainer's
emails encourage attention and collaboration.

Using word 'personal' in such context doesn't help. What opinion is not
'personal'?? You can label 'personal' nearly anything and this is a poor
tactic of discrediting the argument. This opinion as much my 'personal' one as
it is professional.

Indeed Andreas' position is a very strong argument since his experience and
expertise are far greater than ours.
When I first raised my question he suggested to observe if it is going to be
useful for some time.
So I did because this LP forwarding practice was new to me.

Now I came to conclusion that automatic forwarding in fact substituting human
communication and therefore does more harm than good.

Thank you for this. I'm sorry that I'm lacking eloquence to express why I
think it is better this way. We can always consider to change again later if
circumstances suggest different approach.

Regards,
Dmitry.
