mplayer -5 buildd fail on ia64 (!)

The flags that the official package sets look suspicious:

  --prefix=/usr
  --confdir=/etc/mplayer --datadir=/usr/share/mplayer --codecsdir=/usr/lib/codecs

The first makes the other three redundant.

  --enable-debug

This one could be the cause for the build failure you are experiencing.
