No need for that: We have Debian developers part of the team.

Actually, it is probably better that you don't do it, to not waste time 
on duplicated efforts.

I am a Debian Developer, but an obnoxious one of the kind: I only deal 
with packages done using CDBS.  So please work with Felipe or others on 
the details, since I see you use short-form dh (which is most likely 
incompatible with CDBS).
