I can't imagine how anyone would be annoyed by not only major but also 
minor packaging patterns supported in main CDBS package as opposed to 
add-on packages.

Also, I strongly suspect that CDBS add-on packages generally use fewer 
of the evolving CDBS features than those part of CDBS itself.

My thinking too.
