 I understand the server you're running on could be borrowed to serve as
 spare parts for other servers if needed; I'm not sure the contents of
 your vm are backed up, is this something you know about?

 Recently, Emdebian lost their full single server which wasn't backed up
 at all, and it set them back to the dark ages
