Bug#641992: dvbcut in wheezy doesn't work at all

Dear Maintainer,

until yesterday I used to use dvbcut from a self-compiled package of the modified sources of svn166 by Glasstetter [http://www.glasstetter.net/dvbcut/] linked against the old ffmpeg-libraries in stable and qt3, which worked fine for me. But because of the libav-tranistion in testing and libqt3 becoming depreciate I gave the official debian-package a try yesterday - and found it totally unusable:

1. (small problem):
When I open an dvb-record made by kaffeine the dvbcut-file-open-window doesn't recognize the m2t-Transport-Stream as known movie-filetype. O.K.: This is only uncomfortabe, you can find the file by choosing 'show all files'.

2.
If you try to open a file, dvbcut whats to build an index-file and builds an indexfilewith the name: 'file:<file-name>.idx' (see: screenshot_01). Afterwards you see the first frame of the movie in the dvbcut-window, but there are no menus any more and the slider on the bottom of the window can't be moved (see: screenshot_02) - your editing finished before it began! The program can only be closed!
I tried several files and file-types and also tried to change the offered name of the index-file to <filename>.idx - always with the same result.

BTW: My old version had 2 sliders on the bottom of the window: one for fast movements in the file, one for slow and more precise movements. And in the new version there is no icon-bar below of the menu bar any more.
