Thanks for your changes, they have been very helpful to me.

My analysis of the issue shows that the new upstream version requires
further adaptations to allow the compilation against the debian system
copies of the libraries liba52 and libmkv. I've therefore updated to
patches and pushed everything to:

This whole beast did at least compile for me, but I have not tested it
yet at all, so testers would be more than welcome. If it helps, I
could publish packages for test, but compiling from source should be
really straight-forward.
