Generally you should fix all this warnings and errors and make package
"lintian clean"
lintian is trying to help you find solution for fix.
Let me know if you have a problem with fixing any particular warning.

When package is ideally lintian clean than is time talk about uploading.

My working machine is running on testing for a years without problem ....
fresh enough for testing new packages ... stable enough for work.
I am building packages in sid chroot.
Just suggestion for good packaging.
