[Pkg-openldap-devel] squeeze port of openldap-2.4.28?

hello,

sorry if this is the wrong list, I got the address on the page 
http://packages.debian.org/source/squeeze/openldap

I need slapd 2.4.28 on squeeze, because it fixes some bugs that I ran 
into. But I'd prefer to have a packaged version to be able to deploy the 
fixes on all my squeeze servers.

however, the openldap-2.4.28 debian source package only builds on 
wheezy, presumably because of the new multilib stuff. I tried to use the 
openldap-2.4.23 debian source package with the openldap-2.4.28 upstream 
sources, but I'm not very used to building debian packages.

So, is there someone who have ported openldap-2.4.28 on squeeze?
Or is there such a plan? Maybe a backport?

I have the need, so I could help, but I don't know where to start.
