That's true. But I fear it's not enough for a change in runtime
behaviour. Maybe it's best to wait for feedback of pi**ed InfiniBand
users.

I'm not quite sure if it's really an libibverbs issue. I think the
warning is issued by OpenMPI's btl detection which seem to use the
fastest interconnect it can get.

I'll try to dig into that as soon as I find some spare time. (Not before
next week, I fear.) If it's OpenMPI, we might bring it up on upstream
devel list since we're clearly not the only distribution that has this
problem.
