Hi,

I just uploaded a new version of our module closing this bug -
However, I'm just sending this message to note that it's up to the
upstream author to judge what I've done. I had two possible ways to do
this, and I chose the one that stays as close as possible to the
original code, but if any problems arise from this (the author
explicitly says that what I'm doing is not thread-safe), we can use my
other version (registered in the CPAN bug report [1]).

Artur: I'm sorry it took so long to reply to such a simple bug you
reported. I hope this is still useful to you :)
