Bug#623634: libnet-rawip-perl: miscalculates header checksums

Hello,

I have found another situation with bad UDP checksums:

For Debian wheezy, I created the attached Debian package, containing a
simple Perl script IRB-DHCP-Client, which takes a network interface name
and a timeout value as its arguments, sends a broadcast DHCP request to
the network, waits for an answer from a DHCP Server and finally prints the
values it got from the server to stdout.

The script worked fine in wheezy, but it does not work in jessie. tcpdump
says that the DHCP requests contain bad UDP checksums.

I am not sure if that problem is really caused by libnet-rawip-perl - the
package source is almost the same as in wheezy, only debian/changelog and
debian/control are different. But I have no better idea where to report
that bug.

Regards
  Christoph
