This should probaby be iplemented on the pkg-php-tools side. But I
don't know exactly how...

Maybe: x.y.z -> (>= x.y.z), (<< x.y.z+1~)

Can you version the builddep on pkg-php-tools then ?

This will avoid some future unexpected FTBFS.
