IIRC, you discussed this with Steve Langasek. I agree that fixing this
in a lenny point release would be a nice-have. Thanks for reporting
and providing the right patch.

Tagging accordingly (Steve, if you disagree, please untag).

Of course, this should be fixed also in unstable.
