So, Christian's question was about whether we should have a
debian/smb.conf.lenny template used for upgrades from lenny.

We only need the per-release templates for handling upgrades from legacy
versions of the package before ucf support was added.

With the release of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, all supported upgrade paths to the
devel release (and next stable release) of both Debian and Ubuntu are from
versions that already use ucf. \o/ This means that we can in theory drop
all the pre-ucf transition code from the package, making the packaging a
little lighter.

Should we go ahead and do that, or are there concerns about supporting
upgrades from packages lt 3.0.28-3 in some cases? (Backports?)

Cheers,
