consulting the (english) manpage with `man mount.cifs`


   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

one man page pasage reads:

> nocase
>    Request case insensitive path name matching (case sensitive is
>    the default if the server suports it).


The word "suports" is missing a second 'p'
