sdlgfx is an extension for SDL 1.2, which is unmaintained upstream.

The direct replacement for sdlgfx appears to be libsdl2-gfx, which is
an extension for SDL 2. If a package uses sdlgfx, it should probably be
converted to libsdl2-gfx as part of porting it from SDL 1.2 to SDL 2.

I'm assuming that sdlgfx exposes SDL 1.2 objects as part of its API/ABI,
and therefore the only way to close this bug would be to remove it
from Debian after all reverse-dependencies have been ported to SDL 2.
