Hi Samuel

>Thanks a lot Gianfranco, i know epoch should only be used when necessary, which is the case, i think there's no way out of it, the versioning is pretty messed up >and someday we would have to fix it.

we can fix this when version will be 1.2 stable, in that case
1:1.2-0 will be replaced by 1:1.2-1
(even if I'm not really sure about this)
>Yeah, i've made this mistake before, now i'm aware of it. It happens that i used "git add ." without checking what changes are unstaged/untracked (git status). >Anyway, is there any reason i cannot put .pc on .gitignore? I ask this because i don't remember seeing other packaging repos. doing so and it is so obvious to me, >so if there's no problem, i'm gonna commit it to all the repos. i maintain.

I don't know, I usually prefer avoiding to commit stuff, because in case upstream adds another .gitignore you will have merge conflicts on almost
every new release.
I usually do something like:
quilt pop -a && git stash && git clean -f -d to delete it, and in such case it will remain hidden forever.

>Yeah, you're right, i'm gonna be more careful about that.
thanks

>Unfortunately Carlos still didn't replied, so we'll have to wait some more time. And i think this new release can close some bts bugs not tagged on changelog, i'm >gonna check it later, but anyway, these are small changes.

thanks for this :)
(please ping when it is good!)
