I have experienced several times just after quitting X, that when I run
/bin/su and press return, su goes into a loop printing the "Password: "
line over and over again, using 50-100% CPU on my P3 450MHz machine.
'CTRL-C' and 'CTRL-Z' doesn't work, and I have to use the 'kill' command.
I have attached the strace output.

All these bugs have been announced to be closed if no new information
or elements convincing us not to do so come up.

For some, the information came and said "you can close". For others,
nothing came....

So, I close them all.
