No problem. Anyway, even if shadow is frozen, translation updates will 
be allowed. We did so already for sarge. And we'll take care to forward 
them upstream of course.

Actually, shadow is part of the base system, so the freeze will happen 
quite soon.

This is among the goals we have for a centralized i18n/l10n 
infrastructure, yes
