   I've not looked at packaging for v1.3.0 as yet, though I plan to.  I
had been thinking about redoing or at least making changes to how the
packaging is done;  I had thought to wait for the v1.3.0 packaging for
any major changes (so I could get the security fix available with
v1.2.25 available asap) but the existing packaging is failing for LSMB
v1.2.24 because one of the patches is failing so I may start working on

- Change over to using package format 3
- Change over to using quilt for the patching system.

    That's something I've wondered about as well, along with why the
current build only works on an SVN tagged checkout rather than being
able to use the distribution archives being created.

     I, for one, haven't given up but it's certainly true that up until
recently I haven't been able to work on it like I wanted to.
