Unfortunate as it may sound, imho the best we can do atm is to support
sysvinit only. We (i.e. the pkg-utopia group) used the remove/insert
approach in avahi and what this has led us, ist that our RM filed a
serious [1] bug against the package when I asked for a unblock request.
So I'm pretty sure they won't accept it for hal either.
