I installed a fresh Debian Squeeze beta1 on 2010-11-26 with sudo enabled
(no root account) using expert install. Although I have policykit-1 at
version 0.96-4, and the changelog states that something is present in
/etc/polkit-1/localauthority.conf.d/ to consider sudo group members as
administrators, neither sudo group members are actually considered as
administrators nor there seems to be any configuration for this in the
polkit-1 configuration directory.
I created one myself and it now works, but the package doesn't seem to
be fixed.

I removed my manually-created file and re-installed policykit-1 to be
sure, but nothing better after:
$ find /etc/polkit-1/ -type f
/etc/polkit-1/nullbackend.conf.d/50-nullbackend.conf
/etc/polkit-1/localauthority.conf.d/50-localauthority.conf

And nothing about sudo group in these files. Putting back my manual
configuration fixes the problem though.

/etc/polkit-1/localauthority.conf.d/51-debian-sudo.conf:
[Configuration]
AdminIdentities=unix-group:sudo

So sorry, but doesn't seem to be actually fixed :/
