Exactly, I found which vim command do the trick :
smartindent is what you need :
Just using this vimrc directive should fix your problem:
set smartindent
I tested it and as soon as I disable this command in my vimrc, the "bug"
appears.
To come back to our Debian topic, that's definitely not a Debian Vim
bug, but rather a configuration problem.
I'll then close the bug.
